“THE DESERT’S PRICE.'’ Starred by William Fox in a William MacLeod 'Paine Western story, Buck Jones gives one of the mast satisfying performances of his screen career in “The Desert’s Price,’ - which opened at the People’s Theatre last night and will be screened again this evening. Florence Gilbert, in the leading feminine iole, acquits herself creditably. Cast as a young ranch-owner, Jones, who is called upon to do two-fisted fighting makes ’things highly interesting for the enemies of two young Western girls who have been thrown upon their own resources.
