LEVIN POST OFFICE.
VOTE PLACED ON ESTIMATES FOR EXTENSIONS. I MR LINKLATER ASKS A QUESTION In the House last evening when the Post and Telegraph estimates were under discussion the member for Manawatu stressed the necessity for additional postal facilities at Levin, which he pointed out was the centre of a very progressive and fertile district with a fast growing population. He understood that a report had been presented by the Departmental officers in connection with this post office, and hoped that a sum would be placed on the estimates in order tq have this much desired work carried out. The .Prime Minister, in his reply, assured the hon. member that the report had been fully considered, aiid that a vote had been placed on the Public Works estimates ‘for this Work.
