*' — 1 ♦ WIDOW’S DAUGHTER. KILLED INSTANTLY. (Per Press Association.) / AUCKLAND. August 13. Betty Harty, aged 'lO, daughter of Mrs Harty, of Point Chevalier, when alighting from a bus at ,St. Joseph’s Convent School, slipped and was run over by a City Council lorry, driven by E. A. Peters. She was badly crushed and life was extinct when she was picked up. The child’s mother is a widow.
