SHOCKING MOTOR ACCIDENT.

MAN KILLED ON MARTON-DULLS ROAD. A shocking accident occurred at Curl’s Bridge, about two miles from Bulls on the Bulls-Marton Road at -2,30 yesterday afternoon. A car driven by Claude Harris Bosworth, of Marton, and who is in the employ of . Messrs Barraud and Abraham, Ltd., failed to negotiate the turn from the main road over the bridge, and crashed into the creek below. There was in the car as well one passenger, who was getting a lift into Bulls, James Small, barman, of Marton, and believed to be a native of Invercargill. Bosworth had a miraculous escape being thrown clear. Small was not so fortunate being pinned in the car. He suffered shocking injuries and was drowned.
