EXCITING INCIDENT IN CENTRAL AFRICA. (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) e CAPETOWN, July 15. I At Kafue, beyond the Zambesi, the [. northernmost point of the Prince of Wales’s tour, an exciting incident ocg cured. While the Prince was seated r at a lunch table, a rush-built pavilion s where the children were assembled, ’ caught fire. The Prince left his seat, . dashed across the intervening space ] of sixty yards, and forcing his way . through the grass walls, found the pavilion a mass of flames. He took . an active part in fighting the flames t and did not leave till he learned that all the children were safe. The pavilion was entirely destroyed. As he returned to lunch the whole gathering gave the Prince a splendid ovation.
