The .Masterton races are being held to-day in boisterous weather with a poor attendance. Trial Handicap.—Puketoi 1, Elmorz 2, Red Courier 3. All started. Won by a head. Time, 1.3 2-3. Telephone Handicap—Debate i, Lady Waimangu 2, Princess Fran 3. Also ran: Solrluo, Comis, Arizona, Alenthe. Won by a neck in 1.16 3-5. Flying Handicap.—Martian Miss 1, Astinome 2, Mountain March 3. Scratched: Peneus, Vhilla. Won by a head. Time, 1.15 2-5.
Autumn Handicap.—Bonnetler I, Dainty Step 2, Bitters 3. ScratchedLittle River, Patuki. Time, 2.20 3-5.
