4 NEW ZEALANDIORS STRANDED. Sydney, May 1. The New Zealand Government a Kent states that 200 New Zealanders are stranded in Sydney as a result of the embargo on traffic to tlio Dominion. Many are seeking -temporary work. GOAL COMM ANDEER ED. Melbourne, May 1. Mr Watt has announced that the Government has decided to commandeer all the coal in the Commonwoaltli. This decision was arrived at owing to the action of the New South W r ale>s Government. They required the coal for industries and a coal strike at the present time- would paralyse industries in all the States but New .South Wales. This action will ensure , miners obtaining increased rates of pay. The regulation is in operation to-day.
