; + LEVIN DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. On Saturday afternoon tlie Levin Defence Rifle Club continued its trophy shooting by firing the final competition for tlio third series of trophies.'The afternoon was fairly fine but the lightwas very dull with passing showers of rain. The shooting on the whole was good considering the weather conditions and the scores were as follow, the conditions being seven shots and sighter at 200 and 30ft vnrds: 200 300 Total lUlm. P. Ingram was the winner of the third series of shots with 252 points, Rflm C. Ingram second with 218 points and Rflm. P. Jones third with 217 points.
