— i INAUGURAL MEETING IN LEVIN. I There was an excellent response of returned soldiers to the announcement convening a meeting on Tuesday evening for the purpose of considering the formation of a branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association in Levin. Air T. G. A T incent was voted to the chair and there were about 30 returned men present. The Chairman expressed pleasure at seeing such a large attendance and said it was necessary in the interests of the men who had, come back to the country to keep in touch and they should therefore form a local branch of the R.S.A. They were all aware of tlio benefits that'had already resulted from the efforts of the Association, which was a body that should have the support of every soldier. As an instance of what the Association was doing lie mentioned the case of some men who were formerly indentured, ito the railway service.
