Farland's Pictures
Farlands's Features are very attractive just at present. Nothing more need be said about '"'Enlighten Thy Daughter" to-night. To-morrow night '"The Awakening" will hold the screen and two Metro programs weekly are promised thereafter. "POLLY OF THE CIRCUS." A big feature lias been secured for next Tuesday's program at Farland's. It is entitled "Polly of the Circus," and in by the famous Grfdwyn producers, fho picture is spoken of as quite the 'biggest of its kind yet attempted and is aptly described as a "circus caged in a camera." The story is of Polly, who is raised by an old clown Toby and becomes a barebacked rider. Injured by a fall she is left behind and conies under the influence oi a young minister who changes her from-an ignorant circus waif to a tender and adorable young woman. The ininkiter's bigoted congregation misinterpret his actions and Polly goes through deep waters. iSventually the two are separated, but when another spring brings the circus tents to the vacant lot behind the church, fortune finds a way to fcring these two together again even though it takes a panic and a circus fire to do it.
