TERM OF LOAN : 2 1 YEARS. The Subscription List will be closed on Monday, Brd September, 1917. The Loan is authorized to be raised under the War Purposes Loan Act,' 19'17, and pursuant to the New Zealand .Loans Act, 1908, as amended by the New Zealand Loans Amendment Act, 1915, and .both capital and interest will be charged upon the Consolidated Revenue of the Dominion. Tho -Loan will bo utilised by the Dominion for war purposes only, and will take the form of Inscribed Stock or Bearer-bonds, at the option of the subscriber. £1,000,000 of the Loan will be reserved for individual persons who desire to iiuvest in securities which wil bed available for payment of New Zealand Death Duties. Applications' for this class of must bo specially marked. These sedulities will not be transferase,. but may bo exchanged at the Treasury for other available securities, if so desired. The issue is an investment authorized by the Trustee Act, and trustees may invest therein. Applications will not ibe aiccapted for less than £100, but small investors may subscribe sums of £1 up to £500, for a period of five or ten years, at amy Postal Money-order Office lor investment in War Certificates. Full particulars as to latter may be obtained at any Postal Money. Order Office. The Bonds will be issued in denominations of £100, £500 and £1000, or sucn higher denominations as mav be arranged, and will be payable to bearer Stock will not be (issued for any amount under £100, and any amount applied for in excess of £100 must bo a multiple of £10. The loan will lie repaid at par at the Treasury, Wellington, or at any branch of the Bank ot New Zealand in the Dominion on 15th November, 1938. Interest on second, third, and fourth instalments of instalment allotments will date from the respective dates of payment shown heroin. Interest on Inscribed Stock will be paid by Dividend Warrant, whicli will be transmitted by post. Interest on Bonds will be paid on production of Coupon. Both Warrants and Coupons will be payable, free of exchange, at the Treasury, Wellington, or at any Postal Money-Order office, or at any branch of the Bank of New Zealand in tlie Dominion, or in London or Australia as may be arranged LODGMENTS— Forms of application may be obtained and lodgments made at a-ny Postal Money-order Office or at any branch of any Bank, or at the Treasury, Wellington. •Lodgments will be made as follows:— FOLLY-PAID ALLOTMENTS— On application 100 per cent.
