The potato market again show* a hardening tendency and supplies in the south appear to be short, 60 that there, is little likelihood' of any fall in price. Oats ere stationery and sales slow. Wheat has advanced slightly since laet report and a fair amount of business is passing. Pollard and bran are steady at recent rates. Pork is in very good demand at excellent pricee. Honey is scarce andi there is a keen enquiry for quantities. Lineeed oil-meal for stock feeding is being largely used for all classes of stock. Cabbage and cauliflower are in good demand and fair prices are realized for fHeee. Choice lettuce ie selling at high rates. Carrote, whife turnips and parsnips are in Better supply andi pricee have weakened. Marrow and pumpkins are in fair demand at improved rates. Swedes are plentiful and values are less. There is an excellent demand for choice dlessert apples which are bringing good prices. The 3emand ie also good for cooking applies. Choice defißert pears are keenly enquired ifor.
