N.Z. FARMERS' DISTRIBUTING CO. MT>. The Xew Zealand Farmers Co-opera-tive Distributing Company, Ltd., report as under— For our salo held on Friday (of wool, sheepskins, hides and tallow) we had a good representative catalogue. There was a fuli room of ibuyers including a full bench of Home ibuyere and local purchasers.

- 'Wool.—Most of the catalogue cleared at a high range of values. Good, clean wtaol shows no change from the last sale (2nd June). Super crutching however were easier to the extent of about 3d per lb on the average Clean Jambs' wool of which there wa6 a small supply sold at fairly good rates. The only weakness in tho market was in the demand for seedy wool (lambs and crutcliings). For these there was practically no enquiry and those lots which were disposed of realized from 3d to 4d per lb for scouring purposes. Several lots were passed in no bids being recorded. We are afraid that while the war lasts and the oarbonzing plant- in England is overtaxed tliat there will be no genuine outlook for wool containing a' largle proportion of -seed. In our wool catalogue we touched 13jd for crutchings, loid 'for lambs, 14idi for coarse in feri.ir fleece.

Sheepskins.—The market "for these was v»ry buoyant and the highest .prices touched for some time past were recorded. In our catalogue we equalled the record for fine crossbred (half wools), super crossbred and! medium crossbred, namely, 12Jd in each instance; lambs' skins Is and pelts Bd. Other grades were in proportion.

Hides.'—i The market was steady a* late rates except for calf skins which in the absence of one or two good buy ere showed, a depreciation of about Id to lid per lb.

Tallow.—ln tins, realized good pnce§, but. not quite on a par with the sales held a fortnight ago.

Wool.—The range of prices was as follows: Fine crossbred, lod fo 16Jd; medium to coarse crossbred! 14d to 15Jd ; pieces and bellies 7d to 10id; locks and stained pieces 4d to 7}d; crutcliings, superior 13Jd to 14$ d); medium to good 12d to 13id; seedy and inferior 3d to Bd, lambs lid to 15J; dead 8d to 13d.
