Business Notes.
The last week of the cleansweep stile tit C. M. Ross and Co.'s, Palmerston North, is advertised. Special bargains are to be oifored for the final days.
Culled from the Feilding Star: "It is stated that Mr R. McNalt, e.x-M.H.R., will be away from New 'Zealand and at the other end of the world at the time of the next general election. He will consequently not be a candidate. After his return to the Dominion, Mr MeNab will probably be n candidate for his old seat (Mataura)." Dairying prospects "down the line" are good. The Otaki Mail reports that at Reikiorangi it is hoped to re-start the creamery in a few days. This is earlier than usual, owing to the early spring and the fact thtil Reikiorangi fanners are now making provision for early darying. The prospects of the dairying season tire particularly bright.
