Specially well-selected programmes of moving pictures are promised for .Monday and Tuesday next—at Levin, and Shannon respectively—by the Shell Picture Company. Amongst applications for diecharge from bankruptcy heard at I'almorston North yesterday by the Cliief Justice was that of T. A. B. Ilunson, Levin. After tho court had heard a lengtiby examination of debtor by flic Official Assignee (Mr A. Simpson) and Mr B. R. Gardener, His Worship adjourned the case to allow of cortain statements boing enquired into. A statement is then to bo drawn up by tho Official Assignee and submitted to bankrupt for suoli answers or remarks as ho may feel disposed to make. The papers then will go on to His Honor Sir Robert Stout at Wellington, and tho court's decision will be announced in due course.
