levin DEFENCE rifle club. On Saturday afternoon the Levin Defence Rille Ciub fired its first competition in the fourth series of trophies—donated by Messrs VeitcJi and Allan and .Rifleman W. R. Ingram. The afternoon was fine, and the sun shone very bright. There wn fi a slight, tricky wind blowing, flnd this, with the hot sun and mirage, made tilings rather difficult for marksmen to judge. Conditions were seven shots and one optional sigh tor at 000 and 600 yards. The competition also counted for Mr F. J- Gl.acltin's Silver Cup. Following aro the scores r
