Pormaganato of potash is excelloivt in the cheese dairy as a wholesome sweetener for noors, drains, and pipes used for whey. With the dairy oows the quality of tho food is of fully more importance than tho quantity, in so far as it relates to m* production. It is easier to conserve ensilage than to make first-quality ihay. Present conditions should be .reversed and tho farm without a silo should bo the exception and not tho rule.
It is generally admitted that a fallow is a necessary process in the cultivation of some soils in order to improve their physical condition. A iw vegetables aue relished tby pigs as well as by human beings, and they also aid digestion. The growing period, whon the animal is young, is the time that the frame is built.
A little care in good season will make a groat deal of difference in the vnluo of a colt when grown up. Few horses are deaf, and the quiet toamster is ■ where you will And the slee-k .fat horses, and they will accomplish just as much work.
