A determined movement is afoot to establish a cottajre hospital at Hastings. The Mayor has received an offer from Mr G.P. Donnelly ol C;"i00 conditionally that five other subscriptions of L'uOO and five of C 250 he given. Mr Donnelly expresses the wish that tlio natives should be remembered, ami hopes to see a native nurse stationed at dhe proposed hospital.
