TAINUI v. KIA TOA.
A match between teams reprosentiii"- Kia Toa and Toinui eventuated" at Otaki on Saturday, and had only proceeded a little beyond half-time when a regrettable 'incident occurred' and 1 the game was stopped. A spectator rushed at Henry Rawiri as he was making a dun for the goal-line, taking him totally unawares. Henry received a nasty bump, \\'hich rendered him liors de combat, and he had to retire from the field. The refei-ee (.\l,r Jack Freeman) declined to go on with the game and play ceased. Tilie game, up till the time of stop : ping, was in favour of the Tainui Club, who led by five points to three.- Otaki Mail. WANDERERS v. LEVIN. The following teams have been selected , to represent the aibove clubs, to play on the local Recreation ground on Saturday next;— Wanderers: Toti, Seymour, Napier, Neville, Martin, Hitohings, CordeHo, Arcus, Henderson, Tenne-nt, Pat Winiata, W. Winiata, Johnston, Anderson and Timms. Levin: A. Saxon, Lewcr, Everett, Stuckey, Denton, Coote, Hannan, Musgrove, Seiascia, Saxon (2), Wilson, Pettman, Dixon and Anderson.
