The whole ot those on the boat. 32 in number, were drowned.
They were mostly Portuguese, and iiHndod nine children.
The boat capsized in a whirlpool a-nd a terrible .scene Followed, nmtir Indng devoured by sharks.
. All efforts to render succour were unavailing.
