New Headquarters Opened (Received 13, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 12. The Duke and Duchess of York open-* ed the new headquarters of the Royal Empire Society, in Northumberland Avenue. Tho Duke read a message from the King, saying he was sure the building would prove a worthy meeting place fox people from all parts of the Empire* He looked forward to visiting the premises in the near future. He also handed, tho chairman the King's cheque for 100 guineas towards the cost of the clock iu the entrance hall.
