BIG BOXING TO-NIGHT

Joe Hall & Neville Mudgway Everything is set for the Hawke’s Bay. Boxing Association’s big fight tonight. Both professional contestants pronounce themselves fit, and there is no doubt that the boxing enthusiasts are in for ah exciting and most entertaining evening.' , Joe Hall, unlike previous bouts in which he had participated in New Zealand, will to-night be meetitng a fighter heavier than himself, and he will have to spread himself if he is to maintain his unbeaten record.

Mudgway is definitely a “crowd pleaser”, being one of the all too few “live wires” of the boxing game, and he does not dally in the ring. Proud of his record of never being knocked out in the ring, he is determined that Hall will not be the one to do it tonight. In addition to the big fight there will be four high-class amateur bouts, and highly colourful and entertaining teams’ match between Waimarama and Te Ante College Boxing Club.
