OBITUARY

Mrs. Marion Cater

The death occurred at the Wanganui Hospital yesterday of Mrs. Marion Cater, wife of Mr. Thomas Cater, of Turakina, and formerly of Hastings. Born in Central Otago, the late Mrs. Cater (nee Love) came to Hastings with her husband and family about 15 years ago and resided here until about three years ago wheu Mr. and Mrs. Cater moved to Turakina.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Cater made many friends in this district and their sincere sympathy will be extended to those who are left, many of the family being residents of Hastings.

■ Those who are left, in addition to ! Mr. Cater, sent., are three sons— Messrs. Charles Cater, of Seddon Street, Thomas Cater, of Queen Street, and Jack Cater, of Turakina —and three | daughters—Mesdames A. Norton, of Massey street, A. R. Egglestone, of i Waipawa, and A. P. Wood, of Taurnnga. The funeral takes place at WanI ganui to-morrow.
