NEED OF HOSTEL
Accommodation Taxed at Napier Girls’ School Hostel accommodation at the Napier Girls’ High School was discussed at yesterday ’s meeting of the Napier Secondary Education Board, following an extract in the lady principal’s, Miss D. M. Arthur’s, monthly report. In the report it was stated that the accommodation. was now filled to capacity, and the only room left was a small one which had been set aside for illness er emergency. The principal hoped that some definite response would be forthcoming from the Minister of Education before it was too late to carry out any building work in time for next year. A motion was adopted that the chairman, Mr W. Dinwiddie, and the Hon IV. E. Barnard and other member.should form a deputation to the Hon Peter Eraser, to ask for action in tin matter.
