PENSIONS PAY-OUT
Day Earlier This Month By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 16. The paying-out day of State pensions falls this month on Tuesday, June 23, which, being the King's Birthday, is a public holiday. The Minister of Pensions, the Hon. W. E. Parry, stated tonight that arrangements had been made for State pensioners to receive the amounts to which they were entitled on Monday, June 22. “This concession, made possible by the pensions authorities,” said Mr Parry, “will be, I know, warmly appreciated by pensioners.’*
