ESCAPEES RECAPTURED
After Night in the Rain By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, June 16. Wet through after spending the night in the rain in the Kaimanawa ranges, the two prisoners who escaped last night from the Hautu prison camp, near Tokaanu, were recaptured by ‘wo warders in the ranges this morning. The fugitives, John Booth Prohl, aged 26, and Richard de Thierry, aged were tracked by the warders, who found them 20 miles from the camp. f’hi > offered no resistance.
