Saturday’s Games in Napier Following are the Soccer fixtures to be played at Nelson Park, Napier, on Saturday:— ATKINSON CUP Seniors: Play 2.45 prompt. United v. Bangers. No. 1 ground; referee, Mr R. Gallacher. Watersiders v. Y.M.C.A., No. 2 ground; Mr E. Smith. JUNIORS Play 1.30 prompt. Y.M.C.A. v. High School B, No. 2 ground; referee Mr R. Gibson. High School A v. Magpies, No. 1 ground; referee, Mr L. Wilson. SCHOOLBOYS Owing to the entry of a further school team it has been necessary to rearrange the table of fixtures. Also, owing to it being impossible to play all matches on Saturday, duo to shortage of grounds, one match each week will have to be played during the week. Advice will bee given the teams through their schools. This new arrangement will mean that there will be no byes in the fifth grade. THIRD GRADE Play 11.45 to 12.30. Intermediate A v. High School C, ground 2. High School D v. Te Awa A, ground FGURTH GRADE Play 11 a.m. to 11.45. Port School v. Meeanee. Taradale v. Intermediate D. Play 10.15 to 11 a.m. Alarist Bros. v. Intermediate F. Intermediate C v. Intermediate E. FIFTH GRADE Play 0.30 to 10.15 a.m. Nelson Park v. Intermediate B. Hastings Street v. Central School. To be played during the following week: Intermediate G. v. Te Awa B. TOURNAMENT ON TUESDAY The Hawke’s Bay Football Association has arranged a very attractive five-a-side tournament to be played at Nelson Park, Napier, on the King’s Birthday, Tuesday next. All sections of the code are to be represented, and matches will be started promptly at 9.30 in the morning, and continue until the luncheon adjournment. In the afternoon there will be a series of fulltime junior and senior trial matches to enable the selector to choose his players for the forthcoming representative matches. The conditions for the tournament will be seven minutes’ play each way for all fifth, fourth and third grade matches. The draw is:— Fifth grade, kick-off 9.30 a.m.— Hastings Street A v. Intermediate G; Intermediate B v. Hastings Street B; Nelson Park A v. Central A; Central B v. Nelson Park B. Fourth grade, kick-off- 9.45 a.m.; Alarist A v. Taradale A; Intermediate C v. Alarist B; Meeauee v. Port A; Intermediate J v. Port B; Intermediate D v. Intermediate E; Intermediate F v. Intermediate H. Third grade, kick-off 10.15 a.m In termediate A v. Te Awa B; Intermediate Z v. Te Awa A; High School C v. Hilig School D. Full-time games with full teams.— Junior trial match, No. 1 ground, at 2.-15 p.m.; senior trial mutch, No. 2 ground at 2.45 p.m.
