Order of British Empire WORK AMONG ABORIGINES (Received 9, 9.30 a.m.) DARWIN, June 8. Monsignor F. X. Gsell has been pre sented with the Order of the British Empire for his splendid work among the aborigines at Bathurst Island, Northern Territory, where he has been in charge of the Catholic Mission since its establishment 25 years ago. Father Gsell brought tidings from Constable Fitzer of the six bodies found in the lonely Fitzmaurice country. (For earlier cable see page 8).
