Hastings Sub-Union Meeting A meeting of the executive of the Hastings Rugby Sub-Union was held last night, Mr C. H. Bunker presiding over Messrs J. Reeves, W. Lockhead, R. M. Hewitt, E. J. Wall, A. R. Mclvor, J. C. Taylor, F. H. Corbin, L. Andrews, and D. K. Hingston. Instructions are to be given for the grounds at the High School to bo marked out in a satisfactory manner. A letter from the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union advised that the Prim-ary-schools competition would be held at Dannevirke this year during the first week of the second-term holidays, F. Richardson forwarded an application for reinstatement from League to Rugby which is to be forwarded to the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union, A special general meeting is to be called for Monday, July 6, at 8 p.m. to consider the proposal for alteration of the constitution of the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union. A copy of the proposals is to bo forwarded to all clubs and officers. Attention was drawn to the state of the sprigs in players’ boots, and clubs are notified that this matter must bo attended to.
