FIRE AT WESTSHORE
A three-roomed batch on the mailt road at Westshore was, totally destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The building, which was occasionally occupied by a Maori named Bill Wereta, was previously used as a week-end hatch by Mr. T. Heath,, formerly of Napier but now of Taupo. As the building was burning fiercely when the outbreak was discovered aud there were no tire-fighting appliances available ill was very quickly demolished. No insurances are available
