The Aucklaud Racing Club’s Great Northern meeting concluded at Ellerslie to-day in fine weather. The track was in excellent condition. There was a large attendance. At the sec.ond-to-lnst fence Thespis nearly fell and Forest Glow came fast from the rear to win by three lengths from Irish Comet, with Thespis three-quarters of a length back third and Unitali fourth.
