Meeting of H.B. District

Committee JOCKEYS AND TRAINERS The Hawke’s Bay District Racing Committee met in the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club office yesterday. Present: Mr G. D. Beatson (chairman), Messrs T. V. Morron, J. H. Mac Niven, W. J. Wood, P. F. Wall, J. J. Gatenby, C. E. Twist and F. P. Kelly. Various reports were received from the New Zealand Racing Conference with regard to licences issued and with drawn, also stipendiary stewards’ reports on jockeys at race meetings. Applications for renewals and lieen ces were dealt with and recommendations made to the licensing committee. Programmes of the Dannevirke Hunt Club, July 1; Hawke’s Bay Hunt Point to Point, July 4, and the Hawke’s Bay Hunt Steeplechase meeting, July IS, were approved. Licences for the season 1936-37 were dealt with and recommendations made to the New Zealand Racing Conference as follow:—
