GRAMOPHONE EVENING

British Music Society The gramophone group of the British Music Society met at the home of Mrs. R. Pufflett, Market street, Hastings, ami the evening's programme was given by Air. K. Liggett, who chose a programme of symphonies. Dvorak’s new world symphony was followed by Schubert’s symphony in C and Mahler's symphony for strings. A short talk was given about each symphony perl oimed. The evening was brought to a eonelusion with a light supper.
