Annua] Meeting of Club
The annual general meeting of the Napier Ladies’ Croquet Club was held m the Napier Bowling Club's pavilion yesterday afternoon, Mr I’. J. Bear presiding over a very good attendance of members.
The annual report and balance sheet, which showed a substantial balance, was adopted unanimously after a short discussion. The election ot officers for the ensuing twelve months ■ resulted as follow: Captain, Mrs M. Kilpatrick; vice-captain. Mrs F. Daily; secretary. Mrs S. J. Bendall; executive, Alesdanies Cooke. Houseman, Oliver. Fulford and Lee; delegate to H.8.C.A., Mrs Daily; selectors and handicappers, Mcsdanies Bendall and Kilpatrick.
Eulogistic refereiuws were made ot the valuable services renderded to the club by the retiring captain (Mrs Cooke) and the secretary (Mrs Houseman) and a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to these ladies.
A short discussion on matters of general interest to the club took place. A hearty vote of thanks accorded the chairman concluded a very successful meeting.
