Mr. C. H. Treadwell
The death is reported from Welling ton of Mr C. H. Treadwell, aged 71 well known in tlielegal profession fo; over 50 years until recently as head ol Treadwell and Sons. Born at Ballarat he came to New Zealand in 1876, wliei
his father, a Presbyterian minister, was called to Wanganui. He began practice in Wellington in 1884. He was a member of the council of the Law Society for many years and president in 1933.
