An infuriated crowd attacked Jews, smashing every window in tho Jewish quarter and looting and demolishing hundreds of shops and homes. Simultaneously with anti-Jewish disturbances in Warsaw and elsewhere, flic Premier promised a Jewish deputation that order would bo maintained.
