“FAMILY AFFAIRS”
The Napier Repertory Players gave a very entertaining play-reading last night in 'the Foresters’ Hall, when a three-act comedy, “Family Affairs,” by Gertrude Jennings, was read by the following cast: Eady Madehurst, Gwen Wood; Sydney, Herbert and Harvey, her sons, Briton Chadwick, Waiter Wishaw and Hale Spencer respectively ; Neville, her grandson, Pat Blythe; Sarah, her daughter, Mavis Fenton; Annie Wigmore, her sister. Ursula Williams; Mr? Herbert Madehurst (Julia). Freda O’oCnnell; Mrs Neville Madehurst (Rose), Eileen White; Margaret Hamilton, Gretta Williams; Helena Warwick, Annette Chadwick; Hannah, Tui Hardy-Gibson. Incidental music was by an Ultimate radio lent by . Fairelough’s, Ltd.
