The Napier Repertory Players gave a very entertaining play-reading last night in 'the Foresters’ Hall, when a three-act comedy, “Family Affairs,” by Gertrude Jennings, was read by the following cast: Eady Madehurst, Gwen Wood; Sydney, Herbert and Harvey, her sons, Briton Chadwick, Waiter Wishaw and Hale Spencer respectively ; Neville, her grandson, Pat Blythe; Sarah, her daughter, Mavis Fenton; Annie Wigmore, her sister.
