ABYSSINIAN CAMPAIGN
Official Statement of Italian Fatalities
(Received 3, 10.30 a.m.) ROME, June 2. It is officially staged that 2766 Italians died in Abyssinia, comprising 2313 in the army and 453 workmen, of whom 1148 were killed in action, 125 died of wounds, and 31 are missing. The remainder died from illness or accident; also, 1-593 native troops were killed.
