Two of the four Hastings amateur boxers who journeyed to Auckland to take part in the inter-provincial contest arranged as a preliminary to tho Pluto-Fisher professional light last evening secured wins. They were J. Davis and L. McLaughlan. The other pair, J. Philpott and 11. Sherindcu, ’ere delcated.
