RATES AND BOUNDARIES

Rivers Board Inquiry Certain matters affecting the Hawke’s Bay Rivers district are to bo considered in Napier to-morrow by a Government committee appointed by the Alinister of Internal Affairs. Tho committee comprises Messrs A. J. Baker, A. G. Harper and W. Stewart. The matters to be considered deal with the adjustment of boundaries of the various wards, the redistribution of representation, the apportionment of rates and the system of rating to be used. The committee will commence its inquiry at 10 o’clock to-morow morning in the board room of the Hawke’s Bay County Cuncil. Persons affected by the matters under consideration are invited to attend and give evidence.
