V ariatiou in the method of representing ttio surname prefix “Mac” causes an ocasional problem when referring to telephone directories, but the l\ew Zealand Post Office for some years has adopted lor its lists a system which seems to have provoked the minimum number of complaints. The building itself is gradually becoming covered with crimson creeper, which greatly enhances the general effect. When the school was built there were some people who wanted the old existing inaerocarpa trees cut down.
