NAPIER TECHNICAL BAND
The granting of a subsidy to the Napier Technical College Band is to bo considered by a special committee ot the Napier Borough Council. The council came to this decision last night, when a letter from the band was read intimating that from Jul), 1935, it had made 35 public appear ances, nine of which were for charity The band received financial assistance during that period only on nine occa sions, four being from collections.
