Parking on Wrong Side A number of traffic cases were heard by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., at the Hastings Police Court this morning, as follows :— Dorothy F. Craig was charged with stopping her car on the wrong side of Charles street. In a letter to the Court she pleaded guilty, but said that ehe parked on the wrong side to enable her lame father to get to the house without crossing the road. Senior-Sergeant Macnamara said that in crossing the road her car crashed into a cycle ridden by a boy •nd smashed the machine. The defendant was fined £1 and 10/costs. A similar charge was preferred •gainst Arthur Horace Hawley. He was fined 15/- and 10/- costs for stopping his car on the wrong side of Heretaunga street. Charles Taylor was fined £1 and 10/costs for riding a bicycle without a light along Heretaunga street. A fine of 10/- and 10/ costs was imposed upon Norman Strange for not having a rear reflector on his bicycle.
