GUNDOGS IN ACTION
Championship Trials Sportsmen and sportswomen will have the opportunity of witnessing the Dominion Setter Club’s championship field trials on Easter Sunday, April 12. The trials will take place in picturesque surroundings on Mr R. R. Yule's property, adjacent to the River Ngaruroro, and may be reached via the nak avenue, on the old Karamu property from Omahu road. A bus will leave th" Hastings Post Office at 1 p.m., and luncheons and afternoon teas will be obtainable on the ground. Breed classes commence at 9 a.m., and the championships and water trials after the luncheon interval. There are classes for all purebred gundogs, and if sufficient entries are received there will he trials for ••‘rossbreds at the termination of the purebred trials.
