MORNING TEA PARTY
Mesdames Walter Humphries (Napier), Rickard and Miss Heywood, of Christchurch, were guests of honour at a very delightful morning tea given on Saturday by Mrs John Mason at Blythes tea rooms. Seasonable decorations with greenery were in the lounge and the table set apart for the party was covered with dainty coloured cloths and flowers chosen to contrast. A delicious teas with savouries was much enjoyed. Also present were: Mesdames F. S. Sanderson, R. D. Kettle, H. Mumphries, E. Cornford, F. N. Fussell, A. Hetley, T. A. Moodie, H. F. Bernau, J. Kelly and G. E. Waterworth; Misses Monckton and Madge Higgins.
