Advice has been received that arrangements having been made with the Napier Borough Council, the Palmerston North Salvation Aimy Baud will play in the sound-shell. Marine Parade, on Good Friday and Easter Sunday afternoon. On Easter Monday afternoon, the Palmerston North, Gisborne, Napier and Hastings Army Bands will combine in presenting marching displays on the -Marino Parade, and a programme in the sound-shell.
A suggestion that Hawke’s Bay farmers might, like to go to western America was discussed at the Hawke’s Bay 1-armors’ Union meeting on Saturday, but several speakers considered these tours too costly, and it was decided to tako no action other than referring the matter to the sub-branches lor Lbeir individual consideration.
