CHILD BURNED TO DEATH
CBv Telegraph-Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, March 30. Lorelei Margaret Springs, aged six years, living with her grandmother, Mrs. Sheehan, was burnt to death this afternoon. Apparently the child was playing alone in a shed stacked wiili hay in which a fire broke out. The blaze was seen by neighbours, who sent for the brigade, and tho tragic discovery was made of the child’s body among tho ruins of tho shed. t It is unknown how the tiro originated.
