REGENT THEATRE
"MIMI” There bas never been a more bcar-ii-ful love story than that of Mimi and Rodolphe, which is so gloriously trinslated to the audible screen in the film “Mimi,” starring Gertrude Lawrence, now showing at the Regent. Rodolpne is a young, happy-go-lucky playwright, living with several staunch artist comrades in the Latin Quarter of Paris, when more by accident than anything else, Mimi comes into his life. Loving, true, understanding—Mimi provided Rodolphe with the inspiration he required—the will to write something really great. To-morrow’s attraction will be “I Live My. Life,” with Joan Crawford and Brian Ahearne in the chief roles. Comedy of the style that recently has so enhanced Miss Crawford’s reputation will be the chief feature of this film.
