Treasury’s Offer of Help APPLICATIONS INVITED The Hastings Borough Council has been advised by the District Engineer of the Public Works Department that the Secretary to the Treasury will receive applications for financial assistance in respect of damage caused by the cyclonic storm in February. The department asked that in the event of applications being sent in to the council, a report should be supplied* giving the following information: —(a) Extent of damage; (b) cost of essential restoration; (c) particulars of applicants’ financial position; (d) secur ity available for loan should such be recommended. Special forms of application may be obtained upon application to the Treasury. The communication was received.
