TARADALE SCHOOL TREAT
Instead of the annual school picnic, which had been abandoned owing to weather conditions, the pupils of the Taradale schools were entertained at a treat held in the Town Hall, and which took the form of a talkie entertainment, and of course a liberal distribution of good things eatable, without which no children’s entertainment would be a “treat." An abundance of apples had been donated by a generous friend, and these received a most appreciative reception The children enjoyed the whole entertainment most thoroughly, and great credit is due to the teachers and other helpers for providing so excellent a substitute for the picnic.
